Carl Strand, President
Mr. Strand has a background in Engineering with decades of experience in design and manufacturing. While centred primarily in construction and related industries, he has also developed a number of technical projects. As owner of various companies, including some with 100+ employees, he has designed and developed numerous large scale building projects.
His crowning achievement is the design and development of the "Strand Windjammer" and his latest turbine, the "Strand Slowjammer".
Paul Fisher, Executive Vice President
Mr. Fisher's career as a senior executive in Broadcasting has spanned 37 years. He has been responsible for managing the growth and development of many of the pre-eminent Broadcast Operations in the country.
He has a strong background in Strategy, Revenue Generation, Expense Management, Marketing, Human Resources and Regulatory Affairs.
Christopher Lee, Financial Director
Mr. Lee is a highly motivated individual, with a B.Sc degree and a professional CMA designation. At MAGNA corporation, Chris was a proactive Divisional Controller and a part of their management team to implement Division Policy.
Chris will steer STRAND towards its profit target and provide a cost-effective basis for management control and decisions. Chris will execute the management plan with in-time periodic reports, chair monthly operation review meetings and constantly seek and plan improvements in all profit centres.
Peter Wetzel, VP Technical Product Innovation
Mr. Wetzel has a Technologist degree in Computer Sciences. He has been active in Electronics, Application Engineering, and Technical Sales for 30 years, with a strong background in both Solar and Wind power generation since 2003.
Chuck Walton, VP Field Operations
Mr. Walton has been involved in construction and design for 25 years. He has extensive experience in project management. Chuck will focus on sales and will also oversee installations working closely with local community and business groups in the development of projects.
John Strand, VP Communications
Mr. Strand has trained and worked in Media in both commercial and charitable capacities in London, UK for 15 years. A keen facilitator, John successfully achieved results in both bottom-up and top-down organizational structures. He has an extensive background in visual and publishing presentations, retail sales, stakeholder consultation and project management skills.
Together with our Chief Creative Officer, John will oversee all aspects of our interaction with media, industry, and the general public.
Mychol Scully, Chief Creative Officer
Mr. Scully brings more than twenty years experience in Graphic Design, Marketing Communications and Digital Communications Design to Strand Energy Corporation.
He will focus on our digital presence and will oversee the presentation of Strand products and communications through e-marketing and online communications.
